Mariella Pacheco
Hola! I am Miss Mariella. I am from Lima, Peru. I lived In Germany for nine years where I worked as an au pair. I worked for a wonderful family with two children. The experience was so satisfying for all of us, they referred me to their friends, and I ended up taking care of three additional children!
Germany was a wonderful experience for me. I mastered the German language during those years living abroad. I also got married, and when I got pregnant in 2007, we relocated to Washington. At this point, I have two children of my own.
I joined Kinder Mundo as a partner with Miss Naza, and now I’m leading Kinder Cabin. I have more than 10 years of experience working with pre-k children and toddlers. I love this stage in a child’s development and adore being a preschool teacher. I do a lot of singing and playing with the children. I read to them, and I am so proud to know that sometimes their first words are in Spanish! I feel so gratified to be able to give them the advantage of knowing another language. It will benefit them their entire lives.
I want to inspire children to want to learn more about themselves and the wider world. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the face of a child who has mastered a new skill or conquered a challenge.
