Aditi Waghray

As a mother and a volunteer at my daughter’s elementary school, I have seen many young children getting stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, limiting their ability to realize their fullest potential. My personal practice of yoga had a significant impact on reducing stress and anxiety which made me decide that I wanted to dedicate the next chapter of my life to help young children through the introduction of yoga and meditation in their formative years.

In 2017, I decided to start my journey as a yoga teacher. I was privileged to undergo a 200-hour yoga teacher training under the guidance of Jean Massimo at Village Green Yoga, Issaquah.

During the 2017-18 academic year, I got an opportunity to teach at Snoqualmie Elementary school and received great feedback from children, parents, and teachers. This inspired me to start teaching at more schools. In the last few years, I taught over 600+ hours of classes at schools and workshops from my home studio for kids 3-5 years (preschoolers), 5-7 years old and 8-16 years old.

Apart from teaching at my home studio and virtual classes during COVID,  I’m also taking classes at Glory Days Preschool and Horace Mann Elementary.

I had been a part of the wonderful Kindercabin team prior to the pandemic and am happy to be back.
